It is hard to believe that there has ever been another Religion in Somaliland than Islam. Today, 100% of Somaliland's population are Muslims. This broken down church seems to be one of the last witnesses of times when there have been other religions in Somaliland, imported by the colonial administration.
Today this church seems to be used as shelter by poor city dwellers, mainly internally displaced people or rural - urban migrants, who inhabit abandoned buildings and niches in between compounds.
