Bachelor quarter:

the place where single male workers used to live in when working in Berbera.
But the old glamour and the work opportunities of Berbera have long ceased to exist. Nowadays its just a dusty small town on shore of the gulf of Aden, with little importance except for its port. Its extremly hot during summer, windy and sandy during the winter. It is the only town in Somaliland that is not growing at all in terms of population. Its the camels, birds and dunes that are quietly taking over the ruins of the past.
